Congress Square, 10 Congress Square Plaza, Portland, ME

Congress Square, located in downtown Portland, ME, offers studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units (some accessible units are available). It is a Section 8 affordable community with income restrictions; rent is calculated at 30% of total household income. The Eligibility program requirements are for the Elderly (62+) or people with disabilities. The property is a Smoke-Free building. Heat, hot water, electric, trash removal and water & sewer are included with rent. A/C’s, provided by the resident, must be installed by management, and are allowed during summer months at an additional fee of $15.00 per month, per a/c unit. One pet is allowed per household, with restrictions and a pet deposit.

Congress Square has a full-time Resident Service Coordinator. There is an onsite laundry facility. We offer wireless internet in the laundry room, lobby, library, and community room. The community room is a large room on our 6th floor where many different programs are held; this room has beautiful views of the city, spanning as far as Mount Washington on a clear day. Limited parking is available but not part of resident leases and is assigned when available based on circumstances. The building is an access secure building with security patrols conducted after hours and on the weekends.
